For a dream wedding, it’s unmistakably the newly opened Mövenpick Ballroom which is attracting many a curious clientele who are looking for a unique wedding venue. Designed to reflect true Mövenpick standards, once guests enter the ballroom they are surrounded by the hotel’s chic elegance and a service that is both sophisticated and warm. With a capacity of 250 guests banquet style and approximately 700 persons for a cocktail reception, the ballroom has the important pre-function and side-function areas which reflect the detailed attention given to every aspect of the event.
A dedicated Mövenpick wedding co-ordinator is always be on hand to guide you through the arrangements for your special day from start to finish. The friendly team of management and staff is experienced in both the planning and running of the perfect wedding. Upon request, the hotel could also recommend suppliers who help couples with other important aspects of the day from florists and photographers to hairstylists and entertainers.
Silk’s: A smaller, more personalised wedding venue is the Silk’s which flaunts a softly-lit, intimate ambience, exceptional service with a postcard view of the well manicured lawns outside. Warm colours create a soothing effect, and plush seating for about 80 people keeps you comfortable throughout the evening.
Mövenpick Lawns: Receptions, cocktails with champagne and canapés can be arranged for up to 500 people on the Mövenpick lawns with a seated capacity of 300. A marquee (tent) can be arranged on the grounds upon request.
Palms Poolside venue: During the cooler months our renowned Sizzling Poolside Barbecues parties are great for weddings celebrations of up to 200 people with an outdoor theme. For those of you wishing to stay overnight we have 106 rooms and suites, most with breathtaking views. So whatever your occasion, the Mövenpick can accommodate most requests, all you need do is ask. Capacities are subject to seating setups.
