Training centre opened for make-up artists

A professional make-up training centre started by renowned international make-up artist, Dany Sanz, is to open at the Paris Gallery outlet located in Dubai City Centre.

‘MAKE UP FOR EVER’ is an internationally recognised make-up brand formed by Sanz that offers professional make-up artists a complete palette of colours, products.
The products are often the first choice for the fashion and show business industries and are fast becoming a highly popular brand amongst the public as well.
 Speaking at last week’s launch event, Dany Sanz said: “Through this academy we hope to share our know-how with the residents of the Arab world and with everyone who is interested in knowing more about the art of make-up,” she added.
The first MAKE UP FOR EVER Academy was launched in Paris in 2002 and today similar academies exist in Nice, Seoul, Hong Kong, Taipei, Shanghai, Beirut, Barcelona, Bologna, Finland, Leetonia and now Dubai.
The academy will offer a range of short and long term courses covering modules such as ‘Self day make-up’, ‘Self evening make-up’, ‘Professional day make-up’, ‘Professional evening make-up’, ‘Professional event make-up’ and ‘Advance make-up information’. Professional make-up artists and other men and women interested in learning the art of professional make-up can enroll.
Mohammed Al Fahim, CEO, Al Fahim Enterprises, said: “We expect around 500 students to enroll in its first year itself and our aim is to make this academy an exemplary model of service and professionalism.”
