Glitz and Glam the Official fashion TV Grand Opening weekend party is fast becoming the event to be seen at.
The event on April 12 will begin to sparkle at 9pm and will continue till 2am at the Gulf Hotel’s Awal Ballroom. Glitz and Glam guarantees all guests the star studded treatment they deserve, from the red carpet entrance to mingling with some of the top Grand Prix VIP guests.
BMW, in association with Bridgestone Tires, and sports brand Puma have been named as the title sponsors of this prestigious event. Bridgestone will this year be providing all the tires for the Formula 1 cars, while Puma will be dressing all the Ferrari and BMW team members in their latest lines of designer gear.
FTV will dominate the night’s events with the support of some of Bahrain’s most prestigious brands in both fashion, motor sports and media. The official rights for the evening are held by Fashion TV Arabia, who will be broadcasting the night’s glamour for a whole month after the event on their free to air channel.
The FTV entourage will bring a host of its own Glitz and Glam including top models and professional camera crew. Professional models will be displaying fashion and accessories from top brands which include Karen Millen, Whistles, Laundry, Coccinelle and top men’s fashion shall be displayed by the Italian clothes line – Lab Pal Zeleri with hairstyling done by Ellie and Jean and showcasing make-up by Sephora.
In addition to the FTV activities, event coordinators are very pleased to have signed up with the world renowned Café Mambo, brand based on the island of Ibiza, and their resident DJ Pete Gooding. Gooding will be spinning a selection of disco and funky house, similar to those heard during his residencies at Renaissance at Amnesia and Cream in Mallorca, Professional dancers from the UK & Ibiza shall be flown out to keep the party rocking.
Upwards of 1000 people are expected on the night with tickets priced at BD 15 regular and BD50 VIP.
