Hi friends,
Race fans will be greatly missing Schumacher during Bahrain Grand Prix this year.

Without him, Formula 1 will never be the same again in my opinion.
In the first race of 2006 season, held in Bahrain, he was beaten by Alonso by two seconds. His bad patch continued and at one stage, he was 25 points behind Alonso. But he fought back with a vengeance and the gap started narrowing.
After the Chinese GP on 1st October, both were exactly equal on points table. With only two races to go, victory was in sight of Schumacher. In the Japan GP on 8th October, a smoke-belching engine failure dashed his hopes. However, his fans were still optimistic. In the final race in Brazil, once again luck deserted him. The left rear tyre puncture pushed him to fourth position in the race. Alonso won the championship, but also became a villain in the eyes of Schumacher’s fans. It was so near, yet so far away.
Bye,
Syeda Maria
