A country heritage and culture are nothing if they are not shared and open to everybody.
Being the Ambassador of France is a privilege and bringing to Bahraini people the best my country has to offer is a great pleasure and a rewarding experience as I know it will be appreciated by all of you. That’s why we are delighted to launch the French Week 2007, which is going to start today and close on Tuesday. During this week many aspects of our country will be brought to you, from food items, fashion, luxury goods, cars, industry, music, dance and cinema, and of course its gastronomy which will be available for all to discover or rediscover in the leading supermarkets, malls, hotels and restaurants. The French Week is not only about promoting French past and present culture, technologies and products. It is about bringing a part of France in the Kingdom, it is about enhancing further the strong and friendly relations between Bahrain and France. Let’s not miss that opportunity to get closer and discover each other. I thank all the sponsors whose generosity has made this event possible and send my best wishes of success to all participants of the French Week. With my best regards to all Bahrainis and friends of France.
