‘Because I said so’
Contrary to what you may think, “because I said so” is a perfectly good reason. The fact that we can’t think of a proper reason for why we want what we want is completely insignificant and asking us to explain our reasons is inexcusable. The only acceptable answer you can give to “because I said so” is “fair enough” followed by complying with whatever it was that resulted in us saying it in the first place.
