POWER-GEN Middle East 2008, the premier conference and exhibition for the region’s power and water industries, announce the support from local ministries and energy authorities.
The Electricity and Water Ministry, Industry and Commerce Ministry, Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Arab Union of Producers Transporters and Distributors of Electricity and the Independent Power Producers Forum have acknowledged their support for the event to be held at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre from February 4-6.
The GCC countries will require 100,000 mw of additional power over the next 10 years to meet demand, according to the World Energy Council.
