With already more than 150 customer orders for its new mid-engine sports car – the Audi R8 – across the region, Audi Middle East brought the first production model of the Audi R8 to Bahrain.
The car was showcased at the Audi Centre Bahrain to customers and VIPs in order to bridge the gap until first deliveries to customers are possible.
While the first R8s are being handed over in Europe, the Middle East introduction of the specially-adapted cars will follow shortly in September.
In order to cater for the extreme weather conditions in the Middle East and the high temperatures in summer in particular, the cars will be fitted with a specially-designed cooling system to ensure top-performance and longevity even under the most extreme conditions.
The hot country settings are a standard on all Audi vehicles sold at the Audi Centre Bahrain.
