Gulf Weekly Letters to the editor

Dear Stan,
Having just returned to the UK for a short break, I thought your stay-at-home expat readers in Bahrain may be interested in the latest fashion trend in England (pictured above).

Yours truly,
Mrs Williams, Saar (visiting Gloucestershire!)

Dear Stan,
I loved the RRRRRrespect women campaign, what a great idea. You really are focusing on the issues at the heart of our community. Keep up the good work.
Ms B. Matt,
Juffair

Dear Stan,
I will be joining a Bahrain company next month and want to know about the cost of living. What is the minimum amount needed for a family (two people). Could your reporter Shilpa help me?
Thanks in advance
Arul, Chennai, India.

Editor’s note: It really depends on your lifestyle and where you want to live – the costs of apartments can vary so much – and there appears to be a lack of family-sized homes which is pushing up rental prices.
If it’s just the two of you it should be quite reasonable … in fact I’ll leave it up to our readers … how much does it cost for two people to live comfortably in Bahrain? Please write in.
I hope Shilpa’s shopping list published weekly will give you an idea of how much a supermarket shop will cost you.
