Womanspeak is a female-to-male dictionary, aimed at enlightening the male population on what a woman means when she says…

Good friends forever
“How long have you known (insert the name of one of your friends)?”
Chances are this is a genuine question and there’s nothing more to it than that but it’s also very possible that she’s seen something in your friend that you might not have noticed.
This is a hard one to deal with because other people can often notice things about people we are otherwise too close to notice ourselves – but our friends are our friends and if you’re in any way loyal you won’t take kindly to your woman criticising them.
Before getting annoyed, listen carefully and open your mind to what she has to say. You might well find that she has a good point.
But quite apart from the fact that friends tend to last longer than partners, if your friend has never done you wrong than there’s no reason to take action, no matter what anyone says … besides, she might just admire your loyalty, in which case you’ll have earned back any brownie points you might have lost by not listening to her.
