I’ve followed this programme on and off for the last couple of years and have always enjoyed it when there was nothing better to watch … but the more I watch, the more I’m amazed at the difference Trinny Woodall and Susannah Constantine can make to a person’s life.
A programme about changing the way people dress to improve their lives seems like a really shallow thing to do but the personal changes you see in the people whose lives are literally turned upside down are too tangible to ignore and when you look more deeply at what at first appears to be a frivolous programme, you get a sense of how very important a job the girls seem to do.
Rude and overbearing, Trinny and Sussanah manage to produce miracle after miracle with everyone they dress and even the most hardened of sceptics has to admit they really do make a difference.
