You don’t know me; I know you, I know what’s being said about you. I’m the ‘whisperer’. I am socially mobile: Arab, Brit, Indian, Pakistani, American and the rest, they all invite me and share their world with me. Not much gets past me but if you think it may have done, email me on . . .
THE Whisperer understands that traffic experts from the kingdom have been inspired by British traffic jams and the way motorists patiently travel at a snail’s pace at junctions throughout the UK. Hence the new traffic lights at the Burgerland Roundabout appear to have reduced the number of prangs and horn blowing incidents but increased the travel home journey for Saar residents by at least 30 minutes.
Commiserations to Bahrain’s barmy army of beach soccer lovers who had a disappointing time at the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Asian qualifying tournament. No-one can doubt the dedication of the players or the support they can muster. The Whisperer was well impressed watching a recent session held close to the Budaiya Highway. It’s a funny old game … and beach soccer is funnier than most … but the Whisperer is sure the boys will bounce back.
