Hi friends,
When Warren Buffet announced a donation of 37 billion dollars for Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, this became the biggest charity donation in history by an individual.

Buffet is a man of exceptionally simple habits. He prepares popcorn for his grandchildren after returning from office and watches TV with them in the evening.
Surprisingly, he does not carry a mobile phone.
Charity by celebrities is a source of inspiration for other people. Angelina Jolie has travelled around the world to support displaced persons. Who can forget the famous hand-shake of Lady Dianna with an AIDS’ patient given live coverage on TV?
Oprah Winfrey is herself the biggest contributor to her charity organisation Oprah’s Angel Network. The Cancer Hospital, established by Imran Khan in memory of his mother, is providing free, state-of-the-art treatment to thousands of cancer patients.
Some people criticise and suggest that super stars participate in charity work in order to build their own image.
But I give them full credit for showing their passion for a noble cause. Whether this charity is done due to internal inspiration or for publicity’s sake, it’s benefit goes to the millions of deserving people.
