Charmed – Season 8. I’ve already admitted to the shameful secret that I’m a ‘Charmed’ fan so it will come as little surprise to regular readers of this page that I’ve spent some blissful hours in front of the television this week watching the eighth (and last) season.
Having thought it was all over at the end of the seventh season, it was great to see there was more to come from the Halliwell sisters but I have to admit I was more than a little disappointed at how the season started.
New characters were brought in to give the show a fresher look and hopefully attract new viewers and it took a while for those characters to get into their stride and endear themselves to the old viewers but they managed it and the season went from strength to strength, culminating in a really good finale.
All loose ends were tied and although it will be sad not to see new episodes emerge, it ended as it should with the last episode being described by the production team as a ‘valentine to our loyal fans’.
