¥'Mr Pogi International' male pageant is planned for December 6. Filipino artists Pops Fernandez, Erik Santos and K Brosas will entertain. Tickets are priced at BD3.500, are inclusive of buffet. ¥ An Indian cultural show - BDSF (Bahrain Disabled Sports Federation) Melodic Meet 2007 will be held at the Indian Club in Manama on December 14 from 7.30pm. Tickets are priced at BD2. The evening will feature performances by Indian stars such as playback singer Ullaganathan, Kanhangad Ramachandran, Dr Bindhya and Sameera Ummer along with TV and film actress Sruthi. Also joining them will be mimic artists Baskar and Devaraj.

¥ The Celtic Tenors are set to perform at the Upstairs Downstairs restaurant in Adliya on December 7.

The group consists of Matthew Gilsenen, James Nelson and Daryl Simpson.

Also performing on the night is guest soprano Donna Malone and music director Danny Sheridan will accompany the performers on piano.

Tickets for the show, inclusive of dinner, are priced at BD35 and BD25. Doors open at 6pm, dinner will be served at 7pm and the concert will start at 9pm.

'Ghetto Knights' R&B concert on the December 16 at the Marina Club. Doors open at 7pm and the concert start at 8pm. World famous singer and Grammy nominee Ustad Zakir Hussain and his ensemble are set to perform in Bahrain on December 6 at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre's Hall 1.

The show will also feature India's renowned musician, songwriter, classical vocalist - Shankar Mahadevan, mandolin player - U Srinivas and percussionist Sivamani.

The show is being organised by Standard Chartered Bank Bahrain as part of its fundraising efforts for its 'Seeing is Believing' campaign. The concert begins at 8pm. Tickets are priced at BD30 and BD20. For more information contact 17226775.

Thai Food and Culture Festival at the Royal Thai in Gulf Hotel, Adliya, until November 29. The festival will also feature a performance by an authentic Thai dance troupe.
