The Bahrain Duty Free men's team bagged the first position, while Gulf Air's two separate teams came in second and third in the Civil Aviation Affairs (CAA) 16th annual marathon and walkathon last week. Fifteen organisations ran the 21km race at the car park near the Movenpick Hotel, Muharraq.
They were divided into 30 teams, including men, women and children. The event, held annually to mark the country's National Day, also featured cycling competitions and karate demonstrations by children.
