I'M not quite sure whether to be impressed or turned off by this next piece of celebrity gossip!
It seems that Craig David was so desperate to woo a mystery woman that he sent an Oompa Loompa to her house to invite her out on a date while he sat waiting for her in a limousine down the street.
No, I'm not just being rude about a short fat person, I really do mean an Oompa Loompa - just like the ones you would expect to see in a tour of Willy Wonka's chocolate factory.
The orange painted, green-haired little person was sent to knock on the door of her mother's house and sing her an especially-composed tune about how he (Craig David not the Oompa Loompa) wanted to go out with her.
It seems that the girl was impressed enough to agree and went straight out to join him in the limousine where she was then whisked off to a romantic meal at Pizza Express.
I can't help thinking that it's the fact that it was Craig David who wanted to take her out that sealed the deal. As original date invite as an Oompa Loompa might be, I can't help thinking it would be more of a turn off than anything else. Orange skin and green hair - that's just creepy!
