Wednesday (Jan 30)Film - Hamlet on Star Movies at 8.30pm

Ethan Hawke is joined by Julia Stiles and Bill Murray in this hip, thoroughly contemporary film, an adaptation of William Shakespeare's epic story of passion, betrayal and revenge! Starring Sean Penn, Naomi Watts and Benicio del Toro, this is an interwoven story of three lives colliding under tragic circumstances. Jack Jordan (del Toro) is an ex-con-born-again-Christian-recovering-addict, Paul Rivers (Penn) is a mathematical genius dying of heart disease and Cristina Peck (Watts) is a suburban housewife, mother and recovering drug addict. When Jack kills Cristina's husband and children in a hit and run, the husband's heart is used to save Paul's life and the three are connected in a way that can only lead to more tragedy.

Comedian Vaughn stars as the sleazy manager of an up-and-coming singer and Uma Thurman struts her stuff as a music producer. Funny and frivolous.

Documentary - Nomads: Ski Japan National Geographic Adventure at 6pm

Film - Death of a President on Super Movies at 7pm

This controversial faux documentary tells the story of the assassination of President George W. Bush and the aftermath of the murder. Using real life footage, actors and special effects, director Gabriel Range manages to make it appear very real and a little disturbing as he brings up some theoretically possible scenarios that will leave you feeling a little queasy.
