Bahrain's position as a regional training hub of excellence will come under the international spotlight at a global conference opening in Dubai next week.
The Bahrain Society of Training and Development (BSTD) is gearing up to attend the 37th International Federation of Training and Development Organisation (IFTDO) conference from Monday to March 6.
The conference which is being held under the theme "Knowledge and Human Resources" will be held at the Security and Administrative Sciences Academy, Dubai Police Academy.
The Bahrain delegation comprises of HRD professionals and educators.
"The Bahraini delegates will serve as ambassadors for the kingdom of Bahrain and promote it internationally," said BSTD international relations director, Gopika Beri.
She added: "The acceleration of human resouce development to an optimum level is the main objective of our organisation. This global conference will link HR professionals from diverse countries, HR societies, corporations, universities, consultancies and ministries, and will also bring together professionals and practitioners who will share their knowledge and experience on best practices."
