Bahrain's Labour Fund (LF) signed agreements with Dheya Tawfiqi Engineering Bureau and Designers Gallery, Interior Design & Consultant, division of Yousif Khalil Almoayyed & Sons to carry out the designing and fit-outs for its new premises in the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce building in Sanabis.
The Labour Fund has taken the entire sixth floor of the building and nearly 1,000 sqm space will be aesthetically designed, keeping in mind the work-flow requirements of the organisation.
"Since much of the Labour Fund's work is team-oriented, careful thought has gone into the basic requirements of the office space design," said marketing communications manager Hala Suleiman.
"The emphasis is on a modern, open-office plan with access to state-of-the-art workplace amenities. The location of the new offices in the BCCI building also puts the Labour Fund in close proximity with Bahraini companies and businesses through whom we implement programmes to empower and train the Bahraini workforce."
The Labour Fund is expected to move into the new premises by the middle of this year.
The contract was signed by the Labour Fund's acting chief executive Abdulellah Al Qassimi and Yousif Khalil Almoayyed Designers managing director Mona Almoayyed.
