Representatives from the nine Rolls-Royce dealerships across the Middle East met in Geneva, Switzerland to plan for the launch of the Phantom CoupŽ in the region.
The meeting was held to coincide with the Geneva Motor Show, where this latest addition to the Phantom family made its world premiere.
Peter Schoppmann, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars« regional director for the Middle East, said: "Two years ago we presented the Experimental Car 101EX here in Geneva for the first time, which explored the concept of a two-door Rolls-Royce CoupŽ model. The feedback from the Middle East played a major role in our decision to develop a production version of this car."
This is the fourth model since the launch of Phantom in 2003, following Phantom Extended Wheelbase and Phantom Drophead CoupŽ.
The CoupŽ is the most driver-orientated model in the Phantom line. A number of subtle but significant modifications have been made that change its character. It is noticeably more dynamic, whilst still offering incredible levels of comfort.
Zayed Al Zayani, managing director of Euro Motors, said: "Based on sustainable demand for Phantom and Phantom Drophead CoupŽ we will be able to write an additional chapter of our success story with Rolls-Royce this year; the launch of the Phantom CoupŽ in Bahrain will take place in the fourth quarter."
Production of the new model will begin at the company's manufacturing plant at Goodwood, England in the summer. Deliveries to the Middle East are expected from October, with keen interest from buyers already recorded across the region.
