The two brothers join their father in a quest to find out how their mother was killed when Sam was a baby.
Sam's father has been obsessed with finding her killer ever since.
Now, 22 years later, Sam's girlfriend, Jessica, is killed in a similar manner and coincidentally, their father disappears too. Sam teams up with his brother, to find their father and track down the killer once and for all.
The brothers travel across the US in Dean's '67 Chevy Impala scouting for their father, and helping strangers along the way.
Dean is obsessed with assisting people as he is convinced their actions are an outcome of their destiny. Sam, on the other hand, wants to return to a normal life as soon as it is all over.
