The manor also has a hillside setting above one of Gordon's Bay's beaches boasting absolutely stunning views across the bay.

The Celtic Manor & Spa combines simple elegance, stylish furnishings and stunning ocean views making it a haven for all seasons. With a number of deluxe amenities, Celtic Manor offers its discerning travellers a holistic health spa for rejuvenation, sauna and Jacuzzi, private swimming pool, a secluded garden and an elegant lounge with a fireplace.

The facilities are popular with honeymooners, private dinner parties for six to 10 people, film production companies and recuperating cosmetic surgery patients.

As for accommodation, the manor boasts six luxurious suites and two lavishly designed apartments. Two bedrooms can be found on the ground floor along with the lounge, dining area, a large office (that can be turned into a library) and fully-equipped kitchen. The four bedrooms also include ensuite bathrooms and balconies boasting sea views.

The therapeutic spa is located to the far side of the dining area. Within the spa are three treatment areas for singles, a double treatment room, sauna and Jacuzzi and two large relaxation areas, one of which overlooks the pool and the ocean. Beneath the pool is a large empty area which could be converted into a games room.

A spiral staircase from the pool area leads to the flourishing garden which is filled with fruit trees, indigenous plants and several seating areas overlooking the sea.

A couple from London referred to the Celtic Manor as "the best guesthouse in Cape Town by far."

According to the founder and CEO of Resort Owners Group, Gary Carter, purchasing a resort can be a fruitful venture for overseas buyers as, in his opinion, the resort industry is currently booming.
