As further acknowledgment of its achievements and significant growth in its projects finance business, Kuwait Finance House-Bahrain (KFH-Bahrain), was named the 'Best Project Finance House' by Banker Middle East during their 8th annual awards ceremony.
The prestigious award was presented at the Emirates Towers hotel, Dubai recently. As one of the most respected and widely read financial publications in the region, Banker Middle East have been organising the Banker Middle East Industry Awards for the past eight years, providing successful institutions in the MENA region a benchmark to work towards.
KFH-Bahrain was nominated by a panel comprising of international industry specialists and subsequently voted as winner within its category in a competitive process.
Sattam Al Gosaibi - head of corporate finance - received the award on behalf of KFH-Bahrain and said: "The Banker Middle East Awards have been recognising excellence across a range of banking and finance verticals for many years. Winning this award is a testimony to the pioneering role of KFH-Bahrain in the project finance sector and its significant growth over the last few years both regional and global. I am delighted that KFH-Bahrain has been honoured with this award and appreciate this highly acclaimed recognition."

KFH-Bahrain provides project finance advisory services through a separate dedicated team and assists regional private sector sponsors in raising equity for financing projects.
More than 70 financial institutions were nominated for the Banker Middle East Awards 2008 by leading regional financial experts. The nominees were then announced to readers of Banker Middle East, who cast their votes to decide the winners. The event was attended by more than 500 senior bankers and industry leaders and is a highlight of the regional banking and finance industry's calendar.
