Hasan Abdul Nabi Al Khunaizi has had a 'wheelie' good time entering the GulfWeekly's photographic contest ... offering a JOB on this newspaper as its prize.
The talented teenager believes he has the talent and enthusiasm to snap up the golden opportunity.
His believes the lyrics of Dusty Springfield's classic The Windmills of Your Mind best describe his entry:
Round - Like a circle in a spiral, like a wheel within a wheel - never ending or beginning, on an ever-spinning reel ...
Hasan, 17, from Jidh Ali, said: "This song describes my photograph. The subject is 'The Joker' ride in the Water Park. Most of the people who go there just walk past it without showing any interest. Well, look how interesting it has become. The concept behind this photograph is 'making dull things interesting'."
Hasan will be hoping his creativity will impress our panel of judges which includes GulfWeekly's chief photographer Sophie Middleton.
GulfWeekly will be creating a trainee news and sport photographer's position and YES, you could WIN that position by simply sending us your best photograph along with a caption of not more than 100 words.
A talented young Bahraini is just one frame away from securing the chance of pursuing the career of his or her dreams and working alongside our chief photographer Sophie Middleton.
Editor Stan Szecowka said: "We want to find an enthusiastic photographer who wants to develop the art of picture taking and can go on to capture the magic moments that mean so much to our family of readers."
The competition is open to all Bahrainis aged 25 or under.
To enter you simply have to send us one of your favourite photographs, a caption and your CV by email to editor@gulfweekly.com
We will publish a selection of photographic entries over the coming weeks and invite a panel of judges to shortlist three young photographers for interview.
The photographer who shows the most drive, ambition and ability during the interview process will secure an 18-month trainee contract.
