Gulf Weekly Amwaj Gateway signs deal with Royal Tulip

Amwaj Gateway Development Company (AGDC), a subsidiary of RealCAPITA, has signed a hotel management and operation contract with the Royal Tulip, the global chain of hotels, for Royal Tulip hotel which will be located in the central tower of the Amwaj Gateway project, consisting of 20 floors in addition to the adjacent townhouses.

In addition to the hotel management, Royal Tulip Hotel will also participate in the interior design of its premises in accordance to the exacting standards, criteria and identity of the Royal Tulip Group.

Mohammed Al Tawash, board chairman of AGDC, said: "We are pleased to have achieved this great development for the Amwaj Gateway project.

"We continue to witness ongoing progress on all stages of the project in accordance with our objectives and part of our strategic plans."

"The hotel will be managed under Royal Tulip, which is the premiere brand of the Golden Tulip group's global chain of hotels, specialised in hotel management and will provide a wide range of facilities and services to guests of the main tower and the townhouses.

"Guests will have the option to choose between views overlooking the sea from the hotel or enjoy direct access to the sea from the townhouses.

"The hotel brings added value to the project, by combining facilities for both residents of Amwaj Gateway and guests of Royal Tulip, services such as laundry, room service and housekeeping amongst others will be available to both" added Mr Al Tawash.
