A new Bespoke Collection model of Phantom, specifically designed for the Middle East, has been announced by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.

Rolls-Royce has shown impressive growth in 2008, with strong demand for the Phantom four-door.

This is coupled with significant interest in the Phantom Drophead CoupŽ, following its Middle East launch in September 2007. In the Middle East region, this growth has been underpinned by a number of Bespoke models; the latest of which is the Phantom Mirage.

The Phantom Mirage is inspired by the legendary stallion of the same name. This great, pure white Arabian horse was the Champion Arabic Stallion in the USA in 1934. The purebred Arabian is the perfect expression of beauty, grace and effortless power. As one of the world's oldest horse breeds it is instantly recognisable and its genes can be traced in almost every other breed of riding horses.

"Phantom Mirage perfectly captures the intelligent, spirited nature of the Arabian stallion, linking eloquent design with uncompromised performance," said Axel Pannes, head of the Rolls-Royce Bespoke team.

The Phantom Mirage is available in a choice of Arctic White or Diamond Black paintwork. Twenty-one inch forged alloy wheels and visible tailpipes reflect the responsive performance of its V12 engine. The interior showcases the highest levels of Rolls-Royce craftsmanship, with carbon fibre accents on the wheel spokes and the optional stallion emblem stitched into the headrests.

Every Rolls-Royce is hand-built and hand-finished to an exceptional standard. The Rolls-Royce Bespoke Programme allows customers to create their perfect car, designed and built to their exact specification. The Bespoke team at Goodwood is dedicated to finding new paints, materials and engineering solutions, striving to find new ways of creating truly unique cars.

With impeccable style and outstanding features, the Phantom Mirage continues the Rolls-Royce tradition of producing the world's most sought-after luxury car and is exclusive to the Middle East.
