It is adjacent to the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) and the Al Areen Wildlife Sanctuary.

The Al Areen development aims to transform its distinctive desert location into a diversified range of residential, commercial, hospitality and entertainment settings with major components including the Banyan Tree Desert Spa and Resort, the Lost Paradise of Dilmun Water Park, Sarab Al Areen, Domina Prestige - Al Areen, Al Waha Resort, Downtown Al Areen, Al Areen Medical Centre, Oryx Hills, Sunset Hills, Al Areen Homes and a number of residential villages, entertainment and recreational facilities.

Oryx Hills, the residential component of the Al Areen development, will be spread over around 94,470 sq m and consists of 70 plots of land set in more than 20,000 sq m of landscaped common areas.

Located in the southern end of the Al Areen Development, the Oryx Hills cluster is sited between two valleys and will become a community within a community, taking full advantage of all the amenities at Al Areen. It is a short drive from the Banyan Tree Desert Spa and Resort, the BIC, the Lost Paradise of Dilmun Water Park, Al Areen Wildlife Park and Bahrain University.

The residential community fuses the surrounding wildlife with modern architecture into a contemporary yet simple lifestyle setting.

Access to the villas has been made easy with paved roads finished to a high standard. What makes Oryx Hills unique is its natural features. Designers and architects followed the natural contours of the land and produced asymmetrical streets and olden-day Arabic cities. Purchasers interested in Oryx Hills have the option of choosing from three types of villa designs and although they may be different, they all feature modern architecture with strong Arabesque elements.

The two floor type-A villa boasts four bedrooms with a total built area of 469 to 486 sq m. There are two styles of type-A villas and both feature high-grade finishes, modern amenities and classically-styled Arab based architecture.

Type-B is a deluxe two floor villa with a built area ranging from 655 to 658 sq m. This villa features an internal courtyard which brings natural light and space. There are also two styles of type-B.

Type-C is the embodiment of prestigious living in terms of both look and finish. This two floor, five bedroomed villa has a built area of 697 to 699 sq m. The two type-C villas include large open spaces and lovely views into the courtyard.

Oryx Hills residences are offered for sale on a freehold basis to all nationalities who wish to make Bahrain their first or second home.
