The Indian Ladies (ILA) is hosting the Workers Welfare Day on November 21 at the Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam's Diamond Jubilee Hall in Segaiya. Well-known comedian Russell Peters will perform at the 'Bahrain Comedy' on December 11 at the Bahrain Exhibition Centre, Manama.
Peters will make his debut Bahrain appearance along with some of the local stand-up comedians who performed during the first show of 'Bahrain Comedy' in October 2008 including Wadah Swar, Yousif Taha and Rehman Akhtar.
DJ Imran Al-Aradi will MC the show and DJ Outlaw will also entertain guests, both of who appeared at the show last month.
Peters is a Canadian stand-up comedian with an Anglo-Indian origin started his stand-up career at the age of 19. For more details contact 17297040.
The Filipino Club in cooperation with FC Sayaw Unlimited will host the Ms Philippines Bahrain 2008 competition on December 17 at the Gilgamesh Hall in the Golden Tulip Hotel, Manama.
