Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company (Mumtalakat), the investment company for Bahrain, announced its partnership with inJAz Bahrain, the non-profit organisation dedicated to inspiring and preparing young Bahrainis to succeed in a global economy.

As part of the partnership, Mumtalakat will sponsor inJAz Bahrain's Company Programme with a three year grant of BD57,000.

"The future economic growth of Bahrain depends on nurturing a generation of business leaders who can operate and succeed in an increasingly global economy.

"As a knowledge driven economy, their success will underpin Bahrain's future growth.

"Mumtalakat is proud to be partnering with inJAz Bahrain in developing the entrepreneurial spirit of the next generation, giving them first-hand experience in running a business and getting their products to the right place at the right time," said Talal Alzain, chief executive officer of Mumtalakat.

Receiving the grant from Mumtalakat, Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, executive director of inJAz Bahrain, said: "inJAz Bahrain is tremendously grateful for Mumtalakat's support. Its financial support will mean that more of our students will be able to benefit from our flagship initiative, the Company Programme. The programme aims to teach Bahraini students entrepreneurship, management skills and financial literacy, giving them the foundation skills to succeed in the global economy."

The grant will be spent on all activities covered by the Company Programme in addition to the students' participation in two extended learning opportunities such as the national and regional competition and the Cambridge International Examination which both take place once the students complete the programme.
