Larnaca, a coastal town in Cyprus, is an affordable tourist location with an ever increasing demand for accommodation and the island in general is becoming the home, work place, business destination and retirement venue of choice for people coming from all over Europe.

Larnaca has traditionally been economically driven by the tourist industry but there are two sides to the town's growing property market. There is a high demand for property in the main town and in the newly developed coastal holiday areas on the outskirts of Larnaca.

The growth of the main town is dependent on the local population's increasing need for housing, while Larnaca also has the advantages of offering villas in quiet, relaxing areas just 100 metres from the sea, yet only 10 minutes drive from the centre of town and and the international airport.

With a population of 120,000 Larnaca is lively throughout the year, having all the amenities that relocating foreigners may require. In fact, it is a favourite amongst expatriates and retirees. The outskirts are driven by the demand for holiday home buyers and retirees.

At the moment, investors interested in purchasing land in Larnaca are in luck. There is an ideally located site of more than 9,000sq/m up for grabs in Tersefanou close to the newly-completed Regal Gardens complex and the Olympian Hills development.

Tersefanou is on the outskirts of Larnaca and just a 10-minute drive to Larnaca's town centre, 8km to Larnaca's international airport and also a 10-minute drive from the delightful village of Pervolia with its selection of night-spots, restaurants and tavernas.

The land is sited just off the main highway linking Larnaca with Limassol which allows easy access to all parts of the island. It is surrounded by residential plots and currently has an unmade road and views of the new golf developments of Regal Gardens and Olympian Hills.

Regal Gardens is designed to be a comprehensive and integrated golf and leisure resort.

It features a hotel, club-house with multiple restaurants and bars, a state of the art business centre, equestrian facilities, a retail village complex, entertainment area and spa, a number of villas, 1,000 plus apartments and a 6,000m golf course which will be the fourth on the island.

Olympian Hills is another development located on the border of Tersefanou Golf and Country Club offering six blocks of apartments and penthouses.
