Bahrain-based Mian Property Management Company hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for its $100 million Le Reef East & West Towers project at the Reef Island.
"Le Reef has an attractive modern design directly overlooking the sea, in the most vibrant location, which will be one of the most prestigious residential address in Bahrain," said Mian Property Management Company chairman and CEO Hamid Nishat.
The two towers will stand 10 storeys tall. Among the special features is a granite road access from the start of the gated community. Two penthouses of 1,000 square metres each with their own 'Infinity Pools' will be the grand features of the buildings.
Piling contracting company Bahrain Foundation has been appointed to carry out the surveying and piling works of the project, which will commence from this month.
All the engineering drawings and work have been finalised and work on the interior design is under way.
The project is expected to be completed by 2010.
