It's two hours of late night comedy five nights a week on Orbit's Super Comedy channel with Jay Leno and Conan O'Brian Tuesdays to Saturdays starting at 9pm - with shows broadcast the same day they're telecast in the US.

From his cutting edge, ever-quotable monologue to his topical comedy sketches and guest interviews, host Jay Leno projects an appeal that has made him one of the most recognised, best-liked comedians in the industry. He welcomes guests with open arms and an open mind on NBC's longest-running late-night show.

Leno follows in the footsteps of legendary NBC late-night hosts Steve Allen, Jack Paar and Johnny Carson and is the host of the Emmy Award-winning and top-rated 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.' Beginning his 17th season last May, Leno has created his own unique late-night style with a combination of humour, talk and entertainment helping viewers wind down with a few laughs before drifting off to dreamland.

Considered by many to be a 'variety' show, it features a nightly monologue and news-making guests, as well as ongoing comedy segments including 'Headlines', 'Ask Jay Anything', 'Stuff We Found on eBay', 'Jaywalking' and 'Battle of Jaywalking All-Stars'. The result is a unique and humorous look at today's pop culture.

'The Tonight Show' was honoured for Emmy Awards in 1995, 1996, 1997 and 1999 and voted by TV Guide readers as 'Favourite Late Night Show' in 1999 and 2000. Other notable achievements include: Leno's exclusive interview with Senator John Glenn and the astronauts aboard the Space Shuttle Discovery; a pay-per-view wrestling match between Leno and Hulk Hogan; 'The Tonight Show Unplugged' in response to California's power crisis; a sum of $360,200 raised for The Twin Towers Fund in 2001 and $505,100 raised to benefit the Red Cross Hurricane Katrina fund in 2005 from auctioning off Leno's celebrity-signed motorcycles on eBay and a special 2001 Thanksgiving show broadcast live on Armed Forces Radio and Television Services to entertain US military personnel worldwide. In addition, the programme continued to make history in April 1999 when it became the first television series to be broadcast nightly in HDTV (high-definition television). In 2004 'The Tonight Show' celebrated its 50th Anniversary with tributes to all of its former hosts, Steve Allen, Jack Paar and Johnny Carson.

Conan O'Brian has established himself as a unique comedy voice, bringing a fresh, progressive approach to the traditional late night talk-show format. Conan has turned nightly comedy segments into future classics. Musically, the show projects a modern flair, presenting strong line-ups as well as Late Night's own Max Weinberg Seven.

Referred to as 'the most cunning talk show around' by Entertainment Weekly, the show began its 16th season on September 13, 2008. In addition to dominating the ratings in its time period, every aspect of 'Late Night' has been praised in the media.

Since its debut in 1993, 'Late Night' has attracted fans with its innovative comedy, including the sketches 'In the Year 2000' and 'If They Mated', as well as 'Clutch Cargo' or 'The Lips', wherein photos of scores of politicians and celebrities have appeared with someone else's lips and voice doing the talking.

The show was recently honoured with an Emmy for Outstanding Writing in a Comedy or Variety Series, while scoring a personal best five Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Variety Series. Prior to their recent win, O'Brien and the 'Late Night' writing team have consistently been nominated for an Emmy for Best Writing.
