Wednesday (Feb 11)Documentary - Flight of the Elephants at 9pm on NGC.

Filmed over a period of two years, Flight of the Elephants is the incredible account of eight Asian elephants as they journey from rural Thailand, experience months of quarantine, embark on an enormous Russian Ilyushin to a remote Indian Ocean island and then finally arrive at their new homes in Sydney and Melbourne zoos. As the elephants are prepared for the journey, NGC follows the army of workers and officials who make the journey possible.

Kate Beckinsale and Sam Rockwell star in this deeply moving drama of love found and love lost, adapted from award-winning novelist Stewart O'Nan's Snow Angels. In the winter of 1974, 14-year-old Arthur Parkinson was coping with the first powerful, confusing yearnings of adolescence just as his parent's marriage was unraveling. It was that dark winter that he learned of the death of Annie Marchand, his former baby-sitter. Now, decades later and he is still haunted by the events of that winter.

Movie - The Simpson's Movie on Star Movies at 8.30pm.

In this eagerly-awaited film based on the long-running TV series, Homer must save the world from a catastrophe he caused. When Homer accidentally pollutes Springfield's lake, the government decides to enclose the entire town in giant glass dome. While Marge is outraged by Homer's monumental blunder, a vengeful mob of locals target the Simpson household. After narrowly escaping, the family flees to Alaska.

Film - No Reservations on Super Movies at 9.30pm.

Academy Award winner Catherine Zeta-Jones teams with Academy Award-nominated director Scott Hicks for this remake of the 2001 smash-hit German comedy Bella Martha about a frosty, workaholic, perfectionist chef who must surrender some control of her restaurant to a carefree male colleague (Aaron Eckhart) when she becomes the guardian of her wilful young niece (Abigail Breslin) after the girl's parents are involved in a tragic accident. With its tantalising blend of comedy, romance and food, No Reservations is a feast to savour.

SUNDAY (Feb 15)

Film - Evelyn on Star Movies at 8.30pm.

Abandoned by his wife, Desmond Doyle (Pierce Brosnan) does his best to make it as a single dad, raising his kids alone in Ireland in 1953. Their life isn't easy, but Doyle's love for his children keeps them together. When his wife's mother reports her daughter's abandonment to the authorities, they remove the children from his care and put them in orphanages where they suffer physical and mental abuse. Meanwhile, Desmond struggles to secure finances to battle the courts and win his children back.

MONDAY (Feb 16)

Film - Green Card on Star Movies at 8.30pm.

In order to retain her beautiful rent-controlled Manhattan apartment, a socially-conscious American woman (Andy MacDowell) has to be married, so she decides to marry a burly French composer (GŽrard Depardieu), who happily obliges since he is eager to earn a green card to live and work in America. After the marriage, the couple dosn't live together, but when the government's Immigration agents begin to investigate the pair, they are forced to put up a charade to convince the authorities that they are truly in love - only to find it becomes a reality.

TUESDAY (Feb 17)

Film - The Big Lebowski on Fox Movies at 11pm.

A laid-back Los Angeles bowler named Jeff Lebowski (Jeff Bridges), nicknamed "The Dude", is beaten up by thugs who let him know that his wife owes money to Jackie Treehorn. One problem remains; The Dude has never been married and has never heard of Jackie Treehorn. Realising the situation is a case of mistaken identity, The Dude discovers another Jeff Lebowski living in LA.
