The new Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT S, which aims to offer the ultimate driving experience, debuted in the kingdom during the second Bahrain International Motor Show.

The car's design is the work of styling house, Pinifarina, and reflects the Quattroporte's character to perfection as the new Maserati offering sets another milestone in terms of sportiness in the high performance luxury sedan segment.

Euro Motors has been the exclusive importer for Maserati since 2003 and during this period the sales volumes have grown year on year.

The Quattroporte Sport GT S is the finest combination of luxury saloon and performance sports car that Maserati has ever produced. This version is fitted with the most powerful engine in the Quattroporte range, able to deliver 440 CV at 7,000rpm and a maximum torque of 490 Nm at 4,750rpm; it raises the car's performance to unprecedented levels and makes driving a sheer pleasure in all conditions.

These figures have been achieved not only by modifying the engine's electronic control parameters, but also through in-depth development on the racing exhaust system which is controlled by air valves that open in 'sport' mode to reduce back-pressure in the exhaust; this increases the maximum power available and creates a throaty roar at low engine speeds and the full symphonic sound of a genuine sports car at higher rpm.

The new Quattroporte Sport GT S is equipped with the MC-Auto Shift software package for racing-style control of gear changes and can be finished with the latest-generation materials developed for racing-style, high-performance driving:TitanTex and carbon fibre.

TitanTix is an ultra-lightweight aluminium-coated titanium fibre fabric, with a modern, high-tech look, given added prestige by a special processing which produces a shiny finish with a three-dimensional effect. Carbon fibre gives the interior a look with strong associations to the racing world, and provides a firm statement of the character of the Quattroporte Sport GT.
