Award winning British-Iranian actor and comedian Omid Djalili will perform at the convention centre at the Crowne Plaza on April 23. DJ and comedian Imran Al Aradi will host the show with participation from local comedians Waddah Swar and Ali Esbai.

Omid has been featured in many successful high profile films in the UK and US including Gladiator, The Mummy, Casanova, Over the Hedge and Pirates of the Caribbean III. He also has his own series The Omid Djalili Show.

He has starred in sell-out comedy shows since 1995 starting with 'Short Fat Kebab Shop Owner's Son', 'The Arab & the Jew' in 1996, 'Omid Djalili is Ethnic' in 1997, and in 1999 he performed 'The Iranian Ceilidh' with Kamal Mazlumi followed by a series of record-breaking shows.
