Xterra: Nissan's rugged new Xterra has power that comes from a 4.0 litre V6 engine (DOHC, 24 valves), mated to five-speed automatic transmission, producing 291HP at 5,600rpm and 41.7 kg-m torque at 4,000rpm. It also features power windows and mirrors, power-assisted steering, audio system, manual air-conditioning, remote keyless entry and alloy wheels.

Qashqai: This provides the comfort of a sedan and elegant status of an SUV. Its 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, 16-valve engine delivers 142HP/5,200rpm with torque of 20.5kg-m/4,400rpm, coupled to Xtronic CVT transmission with manual-shift mode. Main features include front fog lamp, Bluetooth, Xenon head lamps (optional), auto air-conditioning with dual zone temperature control etc.

l Navara: Nissan pioneered the compact pick-up truck almost 50 years ago and the 2008 Navara shows how that leadership is still maintained. Although new to the Middle East, the Navara has a distinguished presence in the US, Europe, Australia and other Asian countries. The 2.5-litre, four-cylinder, 16-valve petrol engine turns out 162HP at 5,200rpm and 41kg-m torque at 2,000rpm. The Navara is equipped with either a five-speed automatic transmission or six-speed manual transmission.

Armada: Bigger and better in its class, the Armada's three-row seating comfortably accommodates eight passengers. The SUV is powered by an impressive 360HP, aluminum-alloy V8 engine providing brisk and responsive acceleration. Nissan Armada is equipped with Navigation and DVD entertainment systems, intelligent key, rear-view camera, Bose audio, automatic air-conditioning, power-folding third-row seats, front and rear parking sensors, individual tyre-pressure monitors, 20-inch alloy wheels and blue tooth.

Murano: Power comes from an award winning VQ engine, a 3.5 litre V6 that produces 266HP at 6,000rpm and 36.2 kg-m of torque at 4,400rpm. It's equipped with the most advanced automatic transmission (CVT) for linear and smooth acceleration and fuel consumption and has an all-auto 4WD.

l Pathfinder: The Pathfinder LE is also a tech savvy with navigation and DVD entertainment systems, intelligent key, rear view camera, Bose audio, hands-free Bluetooth etc. Standard 4.0-litre engine rated at 291HP, 41.7kg-m of torque, and standard five-speed automatic transmission.

Patrol: Nissan's flagship SUV is the class-leading Patrol, acknowledged in the region as the 'King of All Terrain' and known as much for its off-road capabilities as for its on-road handling and maneuverability. The 2008 Wagon-Super Safari T3 delivers superior driving performance from a 4.8 litre, six-cylinder engine that generates 280HP at 4,800rpm and 46 kg-m torque at 3,600rpm. Nissan's vaunted engineering expertise becomes evident as the iconic 4X4 displays impressive stability even at high speeds.

X-Trail: The Nissan X-Trail has won a clutch of awards from motoring journals around the world. The X-Trail features an easy-to-use all mode 4WD switch that offers a choice of three driving modes for the four-cylinder, in-line, 2.5 litre, double over head camshaft (DOHC) engine, coupled to electronically-controlled four-speed automatic or five-speed manual transmission.
