Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, executive director of inJaz Bahrain, hailed the role of Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) and Tamkeen in sponsoring inJaz programmes for the past three years and pledging their support for continuing to do so for the coming three years.
"After almost one year of preparation, we are proud to implement a unique work ethics programme in Bahrain's secondary schools," said Shaikha Hessa. "We consider both Alba and Tamkeen as strategic partners, not only in terms of financial support, but also for being contributors to the development, continuity, and promotion of inJaz Bahrain to the largest number of students in the kingdom."
Shaikha Hessa made her remarks during a ceremony to launch the work ethics programme, which was hosted by Alba at the Alba Club, in co-operation with inJaz Bahrain and Tamkeen.
The ceremony was attended by secondary school principals in Bahrain, students as well as Alba officials.
Alba board of directors chairman Mahmood Hashim Al Kooheji said that the co-operation between Alba and inJaz Bahrain is an example of an effective partnership between the industrial and educational sectors. It is aimed at enhancing the capabilities of the young generations in facing future challenges with a high sense of work ethics and ensures the quality of their outcomes.
"We at Alba, along with inJaz Bahrain and Tamkeen, understand the importance of the Work Ethics Programme for society since it serves the interest of Bahrain and its people, helps develop individuals and organisations and other sectors," he added in his opening remarks.
