Dear Stan, A belated 'thank you' for the coverage in GulfWeekly featuring my bid to climb Kilimanjaro in aid of The Palm Association.
As a result, I have received many encouraging texts, emails and donations which I am sure will sustain me 5,000m above sea level in sub zero temperatures!
Every fil that is donated in the way of sponsorship will go to this worthy Bahrain community cause.
All the expenses incurred, such as paying the travel company, airfares, purchase of necessary equipment will be borne by me.
I now have a web page where people can PLEDGE, not DONATE, money. Any, and all, contributions are greatly appreciated.
I will be around to see them all to collect at a later date! I would also like to extend a big thanks to Riffa Views whose generous and prompt sponsorship was very motivating and encouraging from the outset.
Please visit www.adventureswan.com to pledge a donation and leave a comment too!

Dear Stan,
I read Shilpa Chandran's report on pearl diving on gulfweekly.com with great interest.
I am a student at the Norwegian School of Commercial Diving and would like to get in touch with Rob Gregory, who was featured in the article.
Keep up the good. We need stories like these in Norway!
