Wednesday (May 20) Film - Asylum on Fox Movies at 11pm. Directed by David Mackenzie, Asylum follows a 1950s family living in a home on the grounds of an asylum after Max (Hugh Bonneville), the patriarch, is assigned to serve as deputy director of a remote psychiatric hospital. Neither his wife Stella (Natasha Richardson) nor his young son Charlie, are particularly happy about the arrangements, but Stella finds herself slowly becoming attracted to Edgar Stark, a charismatic inmate. Despite the obvious repercussions of an extramarital affair, Stella's slow-burning attraction becomes an all out obsession.

THURSDAY (May 21)

Film - In the Cut on Cinema City at 11pm.

Everything you know about desire is dead wrong. Frannie Avery (Meg Ryan) is a romance-wary creative writing teacher who becomes involved with Malloy (Mark Ruffalo), a homicide detective investigating a murder in her lower Manhattan neighborhood. Encouraged by her half-sister Pauline (Jennifer Jason Leigh), Frannie develops a relationship with Malloy that is unashamedly sexual. But after an attack by a masked assailant, Frannie no longer trusts anyone; not her intense young student (Sharrieff Pugh), nor her disquieting former boyfriend (Kevin Bacon).

FRIDAY (May 22)

Film - Hitman on Star Movies at 8.30pm.

Based on the award-winning videogame, the Hitman is a genetically-engineered, elite assassin known only as Agent 47 (Timothy Olyphant). Hired by a shadowy group called 'The Agency', Agent 47 has been raised from birth to obey orders and complete his missions with cold-hearted efficiency. But while on a routine assignment to kill a Russian politician, Agent 47 is betrayed by The Agency and soon finds himself on the run from both Interpol and the Russian secret police. His only ally is a Russian woman (Olga Kurylenko) who gets caught up in the political conspiracy.

SATURDAY (May 23)

Film - Captain Corelli's Mandolin on Fox Movies at 9pm.

During the Second World War, an Italian captain named Antonio Corelli (Nicolas Cage) is put in command of a garrison that is occupying the Greek island of Cephallonia. When the Italians arrive on the unspoiled island, they think of it as a Greek vacation, the war a distant radio dispatch. At first the villagers resent these uninvited guests, but soon the Italians' charm and passion for life wear away differences of nationality and circumstance. After the fisherman fiancŽ of local beauty Pelagia (Penelope Cruz) departs to fight with the Greek army, she falls in love with Corelli. As Corelli confronts the violent realities of warfare, he must imagine leaving Cephallonia and the woman he has come to love - possibly forever.

SUNDAY (May 24)

Film - Star Wars Episode I: Phantom Menace on Fox Movies 11pm.

Sci-fi adventure which takes place before the birth of Luke Skywalker, featuring the friendship between the young Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) and Anakin Skywalker, who would later become Darth Vader. The galactic government has been weakened and, when the peaceful planet of Naboo is threatened by the giant Trade Federation, it seems that nobody will step in to defend Queen Amidala (Natalie Portman) and her people.

MONDAY (May 25)

Film - Just Like Heaven on Fox Movies at 11pm.

When David (Mark Ruffalo) sublets his quaint San Francisco apartment, the last thing he expects or wants, is a roommate. He begins to make a complete mess of the place when a pretty young woman named Elizabeth (Reese Witherspoon) suddenly shows up, adamantly insisting the apartment is hers. David assumes that there's been a giant misunderstanding until Elizabeth disappears just as mysteriously as she appeared. Changing the locks does nothing to deter Elizabeth who begins to appear and disappear at will - mostly to rebuke David for his personal living habits in her apartment.

TUESDAY (May 26)

Film - The Negotiator on Xtra Movies at 9.30pm.

Chicago's two top negotiators must face each other. One of them is holding hostages. The other is demanding surrender. And everyone's holding their breath. Hostage negotiator Lt. Danny Roman becomes the victim of a police frame-up and turns the tables on his captors by taking the chief of Internal Affairs and some of his staff hostage and it's up to Lt. Chris Sabian (Kevin Spacey) to try and talk him down.
