Global brand design award for Bahrain insurance firm

Bahrain National Insurance (bni) - a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bahrain National Holding (BNH) - has won the 'Best of Nation' award by the World Logo Design Awards (Wolda).
The Wolda awards are the most prestigious in the branding industry; recognising excellence in brand concept and design.
The 'Best of Nation' award signifies the success of the bni branding strategy implemented since the introduction of the new logo in 2007.
The Wolda awards are evaluated by a scoring system by three panels of international judges consisting of designers, clients and member of the public; resulting in a decision that encompasses a wide array of opinions.
Fatima H Bahlool, corporate communications manager at BNH, said: "Choosing a logo that truly appeals to our customers while reflecting our business philosophy was the result of a comprehensive process carried forward by the management and the corporate communications team."
Mahmood Al Soufi, chief executive of BNH, said: "Branding is the foundation of marketing and is inseparable from business strategy. Our logo was recognised amongst other successful brands worldwide; this clearly strengthens our belief that the bni brand is capable of crossing international borders."
