The Migrant Workers Protection Society will host its Pearl Charity Ball 2009 at 7pm at the Grand Ambassador Suite at the Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel, Residence and Spa, Manama. Algerian artist Hamza Bounoua will host his first solo exhibition - 'Written paintings' at the Albareh Art Gallery in Adliya from today until November 20. The exhibition will showcase 25 of his works.

The Mšvenpick Hotel Bahrain in Muharraq is offering a wide array of international cuisines.

The Silk's Restaurant offers 'BBQ delights' on Sundays with live music by a Spanish classical guitarist and try a full range of seafood, tender meat cuts, American Certified Angus steaks, Australian barbecue and Indonesian satay skewers. Rates are BD16.600++ per person from 7pm to 11pm.
