The Caledonian Society in Awali is hosting a Burns Supper celebrating the life and times of Robert Burns with food, verse and song at the Golden Tulip Hotel, Manama, on January 22. Creative Arts Group Elham is hosting Elham22 on January 26 at Alriwaq Art Space in Adliya from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. The event will feature Bahraini artist, sculptor and architect Moosa Silwadi, artist Dinara Kadirova and poet David Hollywood. The evening will conclude with a photography presentation featuring images taken by the participants of the group's third 'Photographers' Day Out' which was held in December and led by Lebanese artist/photographer Camille Zakharia and Bahraini photographer Ahmed Al Zayer. Canadian rockers Nickelback will perform during the Gulf Bike Festival at Dubai Festival City on February 4 and 5. The band will take time out from their European tour to fly into Dubai for a one-off concert on February 5 at the motorcycling-themed festival, which will also include a performance from veteran British rockers Status Quo.
