Dear Stan, I GUESS you are not a Sudoko fan as are many thousands are in Bahrain!
As much as I don't want to hurt your feelings, we only look forward to the GulfWeekly for the 'darn tough sudoku' which is part of a keenly fought timed competition between my wife and I.
When that is completed (or sometimes not!), we move to the two much easier ones you publish.
One thing we have always loved is the size of darn tough sudoku - it is so hard that we often have to put a lot of options in each square. Now there is no room!
Oh, and where is my magnifying glass to read the other two? Don't underestimate the number of your readers whose week is not complete without the GulfWeekly sudoku - please increase the size again!

Dear Stan,
THE Spring of Culture calendar of shows are bringing world-class acts to Bahrain once more. I went to see Canadian jazz pianist Diana Krall (pictured) with my wife last Friday and what a gig it was - listening to a great band under the stars in the beautiful setting of Arad Fort in Muharraq.
Even the timing of shows is getting better compared to previous years - the gig began almost on time!
The band started with full speed jazz, mellowed down for some Nat King Cole and Joni Mitchell ballads, before hitting it again with full power.
Ms Krall was absolutely great and Anthony Wilson on the guitar was the pick of a brilliant band of musicians who all looked like they were really enjoying themselves on stage, despite an invasion of mosquitoes attracted to the lights. Hopefully we can enjoy more great live music in the future! Well done, the organisers.
Antti Asu, Saar.
