Mean machines in the spotlight

Around 2,000 visitors flocked to the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre in Sanabis for the Middle East Modified Championship.

The event featured a special appearance by world record holding stunt driver Terry Grant, and stunt team Skard 4 Life from the UK.

At the end of the event, the magnificent modified and tuned mean machines on display come under the Skard 4 Life spotlight and vehicles were judged under various categories ranging from best car to best paint job.

The show was organised by Auto Collection. CEO Wassim Sami Farhoud, 25, from Adliya, said: "We featured 85 vehicles from Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and a good number from Saudi Arabia."

Best V6 sport - 1995 Toyota Supra owned by Ziad Mohammed Yusuf

Four Cylinder Sport - 1995 Nissan Silvia S14 owned by Hussain Salman

Best European Car - Mini Cooper owned by Sabah Al Wardi

Best American Classic - Camaro SS owned by Mr Riad
