THE Diplomat Radisson Blu hotel in Manama is staging a special seafood night every Wednesday.

Executive Chef Pramod Pillai said: "We started the sea food night last July and decided to relaunch it at the pool bar this year, with more dishes and live cooking.

"Sea food is fully appreciated in the Arab world and in Bahrain we are able to get a good collection of fresh fish. These are displayed for guests and they can select their choice and have it prepared in their own way."

The spread consists of an array of seafood including prawns, clams, blue crabs, lobsters, hammour, safi, salmon, sea bream, oysters and Monk fish.

The theme night features a variety of international cuisines with an added local touch. A Mongolian live cooking station offers its own unique flavours.

A selection of desserts is also available for guests.

The seafood night is priced at BD14++ and for details contact 17531666.
