WHAT fun it is to search for Squirtle each Wednesday. Last week's was incredibly tough and I'm still looking! Great idea but is there any chance you could make it easier?

I LOVE Bygone Bahrain and I particularly enjoyed last week's fantastic images of palm trees. I have an established tree in the garden of my rented villa which looks like it is going to deliver plenty of lovely dates. Being a non-native, is it just a case of waiting for them to drop off, or do I have to climb the tree like the people in the photographs? When will they be ready? Can they be eaten straight away and has anyone got a good recipe for date jam?
