THE Eid action at the Lost Paradise of Dilmun Water Park's 'Dive In Movies' extravaganza continues with Ratatouille, which will be screened today followed by 2010 tomorrow, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs on Friday and Hancock on Saturday.
In the animated adventure Ratatouille, a rat named Remy dreams of becoming a chef despite his family's objections and the obvious problem of being a rat in a decidedly rodent-phobic profession. When fate places Remy in the sewers of Paris, he finds himself ideally situated beneath a restaurant made famous by his culinary hero, Auguste Gusteau.
In Thursday's sci-fi adventure, 2012, Dr Adrian Helmsley learns that neutrinos from a massive solar flare are causing the temperature of the Earth's core to increase rapidly. Adrian informs US President Thomas Wilson that this will trigger a catastrophic chain of natural disasters. In 2010, world leaders begin a secret project intended to ensure humanity's survival.
In Friday's animated comedy, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, a young inventor gets more than he bargained for when he creates a machine to solve the community's food crisis. The invention works a treat at first but something goes wrong and the machine ends up in the atmosphere, creating a downpour of food.
In Saturday's sci-fi adventure, Hancock, haphazard super hero John Hancock is the most hated person in Los Angeles. Despite saving lives, he also destroys properties causing the city to pay for everything he damages. When he saves the life of PR expert Ray Embrey, the executive feels he owes a debt of gratitude to Hancock and decides to change his image.
The popular 'Dive In' movies were launched last year for visitors to watch family films while also experiencing the rides and picturesque environment.
The 7pm screenings are included in the entrance price of BD14 for adults and BD5 for children less than 1.2 metres tall.
