The Bahrain British Business Forum (BBBF) has arranged an evening focused on the organisation's special interest groups and similar organisations who offer support to businesses. Tonight's event will be hosted at the British Embassy.

The BBBF Business Bazaar will be held in association with the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Economic Development Board, Tamkeen, UK Trade and Investment and the Oxford Business Group.

"The event came as a result of our members' strong desire to meet others who desire to do more business and create new opportunities through joint ventures and partnerships," said BBBF chairman Khalid Al Zayani.

"We want to connect our members with like-minded organisations such as the BCCI and showcase the tremendous support offered by Tamkeen, UKTI and the EDB."

The BBBF currently has six interest groups focused on construction, legal services, security, organisational effectiveness, IT and telecoms and financial services and insurance. These groups hold regular meetings in addition to the core BBBF monthly lunch events and other networking functions.

"We want to create a vibrant community of people who share passion and interest in their area of work or business - the interest groups create a chance to share knowledge and ideas and to connect with people who want to do business" said Jill Boggiss, chairman of the Interest Groups at BBBF.

Anyone interested in coming to the event should contact the BBBF office bbbf@batelco.com. Tickets are free of charge and will be given out on a first-come first-served basis and are necessary to gain access to the event.
