MORE than 80 enthusiasts attended the opening meeting of the Ferrari Owners' Club at the Bahrain International Circuit.
The club is international, with members in 36 different countries, and the Bahrain chapter is geared at offering all its members, whether their interests lie in competition, the simple joy of owning one of the Italian stallions a chance to socialise.
The president of the Bahrain chapter, Hani Al Aali, opened the meeting by discussing the club's objectives, which include learning how to get the most from a Ferrari and organising track events and trips. He said: "The benefits of joining the club are numerous, because we are globally recognised and members can participate in events worldwide.
"I'm very proud and excited that the Bahrain chapter now boasts 80 members and I look forward to announcing upcoming events."
